What’s pissing people off is 2 things:

1)No “ big names”/ huge $$$ signings

2)Not getting the major needs ( LT/ WR )

So you’re in charge of the Patriots offseason. You are faced with a free agency where you won’t be able to address your 2 most pressing needs ( LT/WR), and you also have to address starting holes all over your roster. So what do you do? Do you overpay for really mediocre LT or WR? Or do you go and sign as many good players to come in and take over starting jobs that you can get. If it’s me I do the latter, and accept the market for what is there, and fix as many holes as possible with good additions to the team. And then I go address the offensive issues in the draft.
