DRAFT DAY DISCUSSION Official 2025 Draft Thread: Day One

So Henderson, a pass rusher or our pick of the WRs tomorrow. I've been saying for a while now that I love our options at 38.
You called it a few weeks ago — drafting Campbell at 4 opens up the rest of the draft for us. And that’s unfolding right now. Imagine if we drafted Walker at 4 — who I really think Vrabel would have been able to use properly, I think he would have been a good player for us. We’d be stuck right now panicking for a LT at 38 while missing out on the RB or WR at 38, and having to play catch-up in the 3rd round and never being able to do so. Now, we’re perfectly set up, so long as the ghost of Belichick doesn’t haunt the building and cause us to draft a surprise DB at 38.

Some really good players available

Will Johnson CB

T. Henderson RB

M. Green Edge

Jayden Higgins WR

Mason Taylor TE

Grey Zabel OL

Q.Judkins RB

WOWOWOW!!! Cam Ward does not sound happy to be a Titan!

Would you be tempted to flip CLE our 38 plus one of our 3rd rounders in exchange for 33.. or are you happy with whoever falls to 38?

I get a bad feeling Burden/Higgins will be gone by 38, and I really, really don't want an Elliot Wolf off-brand dumpster dive at WR again my friend. I'd like an EDGE but Maye really needs someone young and talented he can develop with.

I think the pick will be Jayden Higgins at 38. I’m not that keen on it.

Emmanwori is a strong safety so that needs to be resolved as we're potentially pretty strong there. Xavier Watts on the other hand.
He can play any secondary position. Honestly he can play anywhere in the back 8.

Nick Emmanawori (6-3 & 220) is LB size for Vrabels/Williams defense.

Noel, Kyle Williams, Jack Bech and Jayden Higgins aren't dumpster dives, they're all quality potential no 2 receivers. I'm happy sticking and seeing what's available. It's what good teams do.

There's also three really good edge rushers available too that should be considered.

Would you look to move up for Green or J. Campbell?
You could make a good argument for Campbell bc of the depth at LB and quality of player. He's gone though. Phila continues to stack players.

I guess you could for Green too. I think he's foes top 5-10 if not for the SA stuff. He's got 12+ sack potential. There's good depth at rush though.

We're in a good spot everywhere else though to stay put. Multiple starter-level guys should be on our board.

Zabel went to the Seahawks.

I'd add Donovan Ezeiruaku and Nic Scourton to your list. And if they want a FS, Xavier Watts.

That's way too much to give up. With multiple WRs still available I would hold. Unless there's one they really like I just think WR can wait. Remember they spent 4 picks on WRs in the past 2 years.

Admittedly if Burden were to be there he'd be hard to pass on.

I didn’t think Mike Green was gonna be there.

Wish list
Henderson
Green
Ezeiruaku
Scourton
Noel
Higgins
Harris
Bech
Judkins
Ersery

As long as he doesn’t go off script, we are getting another impact player.

Also just added 2 WR’s in free agency.
