I generally try not to second guess playcalling too much, but I was somewhat shocked at the Pat's playcalling. We played a defense that blitzes the second most in the NFL and we didn't run a screen all night. We only had one run outside the tackles, a big run for faulk, and really didn't do much "dinkin and dunkin". We really didn't do any of the things that teams typically do to slow down a pass rush. Also, the consistent decisions to pass on 2nd and 5ish situations was really frustrating, especially on the last drive when we wanted to eat time off the clock. I'm really curious why we just kinda stood back and ate the blitz all night. Maybe I'm missing something. Anyone else feel this way?
