My guess is that we will see the first tier of offense in the top eight, with one defensive player being picked (Jackson, Curry or Raji). #9 or #10 would be a fine spot to get one of these or Jenkins.

If Belichick has interest in any of the following, I think he needs to trade up at least to 14 or 15. There are 18 players in the list and some may not even be picked in the top 15. I agree with those that have suggested that there are two strategies being pursued, one to reach the top 10 (#8 or #9) and another to reach the top 15 (#14 or #15). I think that Belichick sees the chance to get a real stud for six years and is pursuing his options.
Just BTW, I think all the top three OT's will be gone by the sixth pick.
====================
FIRST TIER
QB Stafford, Sanchez
WR Heyward-Bey, Maclin
OT Smith, Monroe, Smith
====================
SECOND TIER (one will likely go in the top 8)
LB Curry, Maualuga, Cushing
DT Raji
DE Ayers, Maybin, Orapko
DB Jenkins
WR Crabtree
OT Oher
QB Freeman
