I hope there's a multi season strike and the league never recovers. He'll go down as the man that killed the NFL. That's the only way there'll be any justice.
When placed in contrast to the NY Post and Daily News, I'd say they have been. And which Times columnists are you referring to?Let's b clear. By history, the NYT has continuously prothlosized over the danger of football n have illustrated many times over, examples of former players with possible degenerative symptoms.
Furthermore, more than a few columnists have 'screamed' for Tom Brady's head claiming he's the equivalent of a level 3 sex offender n should have been suspended for a year.
When it comes to football, the NYT ain't no friend to the Pats
Yep. I'm definitely in "burn it all down" mode. I want to see all the owners, yes ALL of them, lose their teams and their fortunes.
(I'm realistic enough to know that's not happening anytime soon, if at all, but it remains an aspirational goal.)
Understandable, but someone really needs to bust the jaw of that mouth responsible for so many lies. A split lip and two black eyes would be nice embellishments. Man, I'm nasty ...I'd prefer to pound him endlessly with body shots myself, but that's me
After watching the "Any Given Wednesday" episode this week where Bill had a conversation with Demaurice Smith and Malcolm Gladwell, I concluded that Goodell and Smith are evenly matched. Nothing will be fixed as long as he is head of the NFLPA. Gladwell posited the idea of going after the owners and broadcasters by appealing to the fans and Smith kept going back to the idea of how hard it is to get the players to strike.
The only way to fix it is to stop giving them our money until we get their attention. Bye NFL Network. I'll miss Thursday games? Good. They belie the leagues claim to care about player safety.
Pash's comments are so condescending it's pathetic.
"Pash said that the league was willing to negotiate with the union to amend the personal conduct policy, but that the union would have to understand the owners’ position and stop trying to overturn the commissioner’s rulings by going to court."
Maybe if the Commissioner was actually fair in his decision making and didn't lead witch-hunts that are backed by actual fact, the players wouldn't keep trying to take things to court. Guy is such an f'in imbecile.

There's another way...
LMFAO! Did the guy who edited the Wells report and filed in a NYC court before Brady and the NFLPA could submit their suit really just say that?Jeff Pash is one disgusting human being, although at least we already know he is paid to lie.
One means to achieving this could be for the players to start their own league. I'm sure this is much easier said than done but things have changed with respect to the revenue generating options for a new league since the last time it was tried with the USFL. In theory the games could be streamed live or or rights could be sold to a number of cable outlets that were not an option twenty years ago and most importantly I've gotta think it's now possible to reach the same number of viewers without having to go to the networks who would shun them for fear of being black listed by the NFL.Yep. William Rhoden has written multiple columns calling Brady a gross cheater n including Belichick saying he too needs to b suspendedWhen placed in contrast to the NY Post and Daily News, I'd say they have been. And which Times columnists are you referring to?
No. Ever since they figured out what was going on late last summer (2015) the Daily News (Lupica and Myers) has been friendly to Brady and scornful of Goodell. Rhoden before his retirement was awful and Araton has taken a few shots, but Rhoden was bad. When placed in contrast to the NY Post and Daily News, I'd say they have been. That would not surprise me. That's one. I'm not looking for any sort of bibliographical research project. I guess my larger point is that, on the whole, the entire DG matter has been handled in a much fairer, adult-like and rational manner by the NYT than it has by the Post and Daily News. Of course when you consider what pieces of **** rags the latter are, that might not be saying much.William Rhoden has written multiple columns calling Brady a gross cheater n including Belichick saying he too needs to b suspended
What I am saying is that the Post n the Daily News r dogs whereas the NYT is supposedly above that. Well, it isn't. In fact, Rhoden was on a couple of morning shows like GMA n the one CBS has to Yelp about Brady n "those Cheating Pattiots"That would not surprise me. That's one.
