Interesting story. Almost certain that the kid was just being a dipshit troll but even so everyone who was involved did exactly the right thing, sounds like.

Sadly in these times it would be irresponsible of anyone that did notice it not to escalate it and some law enforcement officials haven't exactly been receptive to warnings from the average citizen.
