Notre Dame QB Everett Gholson

Not sure where this thread should go (MODS, feel free to move) but this is a bombshell for Notre Dame and college football in general.

Notre Dame confirms that QB Everett Gholson is no longer enrolled at Notre Dame. It looks like it may be due to cheating in exams etc but that is just rumors I picked up on the Notre Dame message boards.

Interestingly enough, the NCAA by-laws do allow an exception here, so Kiel could theoretically return and start for Notre Dame this fall.

Big ND fan, but not a huge fan of Gholston... he was the best they had last year, imo they could have done better.
