Marcus Jones has finally passed Bryant as our primary punt returner. Dugger is an OK backup.

But Marcus isn't ready to play nickel back yet. That's OK. He's earning his keep as a rookie.

When there are no injuries, then we are fine with three solid starting CB's: Jones, Jones and Mills.

BUT THEN, we need better than Bryant who apparently is a better choice that Wade.

Jonathon Jones should go back to nickel. He's starting to get torched outside as @RobertWeathers mentioned a while ago.

He's ALWAYS a step behind Robert, yeah, Decent, but a step behind, without long enough arms to break it up.

Jonathan Jones is playing outside corner as well as almost anyone in the league. But, yes, this is a much better option than having Bryant or Wade at nickel.

It seems a dangerous change to have Mills and Jack Jones as our outside corners. Of course, that can only happen when Mills is healthy.

marcus can do as well as Bryant all day any day.
So say you and other posters. There is no evidence to suggest that Marcus is ready. And YES, he can definitely be worse than wht we have seen from Bryant.

The coaches who work with him every day believe that he is behind Bryant and Wade.
==========
We brought in a large number of corners and kept 5 plus a PR/backup NB. We are fine when the starters are healthy. It seems that we might have done better than Bryant of Wade. Our 4 locks all through camp are valuable players: the Jones boys plus Mills. Bryant and Wade, not so much.

I think Mills was playing great before his injury and JJ² looked awesome Sunday, and JJ¹ has been grading out as good as any. Kind of harsh to ask JJ¹ to go back to slot after finally get his crack on the outside. I'm not sure it would be Mills best role. I think it's JJ² or more Bryant.

Our CB1 Mills was out with injury this game and the only receiver who did squat was 6’5” 227 pound Alan Lazard. They passed for 244 yards total, Lazard had 116 yards of that. Hardly a banner day passing the ball.

Unless you're Lazard, then it was def a banner day
