I am not sure who is making the decisions, I think ultimately the success and the failures land with Belichick.

According to Pepper Johnson, Belichick teaches his players and coaches how to handle the media. They learn how to take questions and go nowhere with them. It's not great for the fans who'd like more input from them, but it probably helps overall.

Casserio seems like he can talk a blue streak without saying all that much. Perfect for the Pats.

I actually get a lot out of Casserio's interviews, obviously we'll never get anything about a specific player come draft time. But you learn about some of the how's and why's when it comes to the draft. The best thing any Patriot's fan can learn is, they draft according to who they feel would fit THEIR system the best. And once you learn that, you can sit back and enjoy (kinda) the draft. We still get lots of headscratchers, but they make sense Patriot's wise.
