What makes that so hard is because Benjamin Watson can actually block decently. So the DB doesn't want to really engage Watson. Amazing how being a decent blocker can make your game that much better?

Yep... just think if Dwayne Allen could actually catch a pass he'd be worth keeping on the roster instead of him being a cap hit of over 3 million dollars for a guy that only blocks

Agreed, their defense is really overrated. Only the Ravens and maybe the Bears have a great defense.

He caught tons of balls from Luck in Indy. No idea what changed in NE though.

Well screw our o-line. Let's put 5 running backs as Brady's blockers. At least Brady can lateral to them so they can get on the stat sheet and not suck.

Again, have you tried watching the game? You'll find that today's tight ends can't block if their lives depended on it. Competent blocking tight ends are a rare breed in today's pro football. Dwayne Allen is a top 5 blocking tight end.

It is true, Kontra. For example, BAL allowed 23 points, 10-16 on 3rd down and almost 400 yards of offense.

If we want to say that is the new standard for " pretty good" then that's fine.

I suggest you go back and watch the 06 or 2013 season again. Cuz the same thing is about to happen this year. Brady is going to be undermanned at the pass catching position.... and the season's going to end the same way, and I'll be they are to tell you I told you so

The rams defense is a bit like the old colts defense under Peyton. If you let them get up on you they can be very effective due to their pass rush. If you keep the lead or keep it close then they need to defend everything and can't do it well. Just my take on it.
