I don't know about that; why would you say that is weird? The Packers are the defending league champions, most people are very familiar with the Vikings and it is a strong, long-time rivalry.

On the other hand both the Rams and Cowboys both missed the playoffs last year with losing records, both currently have losing records, the Rams have almost no recognizable players to promote the game, and they are one of three teams to still not have a win.

To me it's very understandable that FOX would show the Packers - Vikings game everywhere with the exception of areas that always air the Cowboys or the Rams no matter what else is on.
