It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I feel like you don't see head coaches bothering to teach players during games, other than Belichick. That 3 seconds where he went over to Adam Butler is more actual coaching that I've seen on camera from anyone else.
Rah Rah and Yeeeeeahh, that's not coaching. That's cheerleading.
Great point. For Belichick to see this in real time from the sidelines is impressive to.As I pointed out on another thread, he gets enthused at the end of this video when talking about Allen's block that he also discussed on his Bellestrator segment.
"That's a great job by Dwayne, passing up the End and getting the Corner, that's a great job."

I'm so on edge and anxious during playoff games that I have the same reaction to TDs. When Brady led the game-tying drive in SB 51 to make it 26-28 before the PAT I could barely let out a cheer. Just a small "nice ok get 2 points here." I think I still had the 2015 AFCCG in mind.It is as though TD's are expected by BB, no big deal this is what is supposed to happen..
Just say Tomlin. It's okay. We all know what you mean.

Jesus. Just thinking of that 2015 AFCCG. Offense was getting their asses kicked all day and we were a missed Gostkowski FG or 2PT conversion from sending it to overtime. Incredible.
He can get somewhat animated at the tight tactical scenarios (the exact distance needed on a third down), he is more stoic with the finality (a TD is scored), throw in slightly more than mumbled observation as well as an occasional modestly elevated volume praise.
You made me click to a…Shalise Manza Young story.Video of Bill mic'ed up with synced with radio calls
The writing is OK I guess, but the video is awesome.
Watch: Bill Belichick celebrates the Patriots' five touchdowns . Sort of.
Side comment, Belichick is talking to Nick Caley, the tight ends coach, when he makes that observation about Allen's tactical non-block."That's a great job by Dwayne, passing up the End and getting the Corner, that's a great job."
Romo approaches it. Something Belichick seems to agree with. He was effusive with his praise for the job Romo is doing.Of course it helps a lot that he knew the designed blocking scheme ahead of time and so that's where he was focused when the play happened. I just wish one of the networks would hire Matt Chatham - he is full of insights along these lines.
My sense is BB doesn't get excited when a play happens just as it was drawn up, only for stuff that goes above and beyond.
