PATRIOTS: New England signed former Houston Texans wide receiver Jabar Gaffney and released defensive tackle Johnathan Sullivan and cornerback Hank Poteat. In June, Gaffney was arrested following a traffic stop in New Jersey for unlawful possession of a handgun.
