Andre Carter Says Relationship With Albert Haynesworth 'Has Always Been Positive' - New England Patriots - NESN.com - Jeff Howe

Just last season, Andre Carter said the Redskins had "moved forward" from the issues they had with Albert Haynesworth, who clashed with head coach Mike Shanahan and essentially refused to play for the team.

Apparently, Carter and Haynesworth never really had a personal beef with one another, but it didn't prevent Carter from calling out his teammate. Now that they've reunited in New England, Carter cleared up the notion that there could be a lingering issue.

"Our relationship has always been positive no matter what, whether it was here or there," Carter said Tuesday. "That's a thing of the past. This is now. We're Patriots."

Carter's original comments weren't even very controversial, but they have resurfaced this week due to Carter's decision to sign Monday with New England.
