After getting far too aggravated with the fact that we haven't had any closure with the issues that continued to come up, especially on gamedays, I have purchased a faster server with much better support which should finally get us to where we need to do. We'll bury the old one and move on into the new year with a better place.

She won't have any issues now, I can promise you. I purchased this last week after doing a lot of research to make absolutely sure we'd be all set, and this time around it's a managed server so I have much better support should any problem arrise. I wanted to complete the data transfer last night but was busy with some family stuff, and when it slowed down again today I decided just to go ahead and do it then. So the board has been completely moved and the rest of the site is right behind it. Once I'm completely finished I'll be shutting down the old server so that I'm not paying for two.

By late tomorrow night it will be resolving to http://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/ and then you'll be able to ignore the I.P. address. But for tonight this will be the address.

You'll say no but I'm sure many here would not mind passing the basket around ... it almost feels like stealing to enjoy a site so good all the time....

Agreed. I know that this is a difficult and expensive proposition for Ian...and now it has come to the time where every regular poster on this site needs to help out and be a part of it....

There is no other Pats Fan Board anywhere on this planet, that compares to the class, and professionalism, of this site.......

Lets figure out a way to do it.

Seconded. I would happily put money into the upkeep of this board. We would need to think of a way of doing it that doesn't put pressure on people, feeling they have to "donate". All the same, it's a great idea.
