SAN DIEGO — The San Diego Chargers have reached an agreement with the Denver Broncos to trade their star quarterback for undisclosed compensatory picks after the end of this season. In an unprecedented move, the Chargers plan to use Manning's forehead as the spacious new location for their new stadium.
Alex Spanos went on record Saturday evening, at a press event, stating that "Manning has shown really great business acumen these past years after launching countless Papa Johns locations and a self-starter pharmaceutical mail order company. We feel his brainpower and real estate prowess really gets its inspiration from his boundless forehead real estate. We hope to break construction on the new domed stadium by summer '16 and plan to offer Manning noodle arm figurines -- constructed with authentic Japanese noodles -- to the first thousand new season ticket holders. This is a proud era to be a Charger fan and we couldn't be happier than to be in the Manning forehead business."
Roger Goodell could not be reached for comment, but the NFL did release a press statement confirming the Manning deal was approved by ownership in a phone conference session.
