Obviously, BB does not consider Watson worth much. Yet another clue that perhaps Belichick thinks he has his LB needs already taken care of, in-house. (Or that Courtney Watson isn't a good match for our scheme.) Interesting.

Have you noticed... the increase in player for player trades lately?? Pretty amazing I think that as soon as the rule is in teams have started to take advantage of it already. And I'd like to think the Pats-Saints trade was a pioneer of this movement!!

Why cut a guy on June 1st when you can trade deadwood and both stretch the cap hit over 2 years instead of one?
