New Nike Pro-Bowl Uniforms

Unfortunately, this is not another fan made fabrication. This is the real deal, as being reported on ESPN.com. This sad attempt to put lipstick on a pig won't generate any more interest in the NFL's annual offensive player skills competition. Why don't they just give the NFC players Oregon helmets since they gave 'em Oregon uniforms.

Besides the obvious Oregon rip-offs, those jerseys look like something I used to make on Madden's create-a-team option... like 10 years ago.

I have no problem with flashy pro bowl uniforms, it's not like they have tradition behind them anyways, would have liked keeping the red/blue scheme though.

The NFL discussed that possibility, but decided to continue the event.

There will be some changes starting this year: no kickoffs (ball is placed on 25-yard line), and defenses can now use cover-2 and press coverages (was strictly man-to-man previously).

Nike needs to get out of the uniform business. Reebok had a knack for keeping things classic yet also contemporary. They also did a good job with fan gear. Nike evokes visions of twentysomething kids with virtual crayons.

It's a fantasy draft so you might be able to get one of the Oregon ones with a Patriots name on it!

Might also get a scenario where you could see Clay Matthews playing against Aaron Rodgers.
