Nelson is an aggressive, physical corner who is very good in run support and has that extra gear when the ball is in the air to close and swat it away

"Quick twitch" smallish CBs have not helped the Pats in the past. I think of Ellis Hobbs and get cold sweats. We already have some "thigetts" on the CB roster and just signed another. There are some better choices for covering larger WR in our AFC East perhaps around his draft value such as Eric Rowe Utah at almost 6'2" with outstanding speed and production who can play safety as well. Ladarius Gunter CB Miami is also under the radar. 6'2" and 202 lbs. Pro Day speed of 4.56 and long arms. Physical. ACC Teams would NOT throw to his side. Sherman was not a first round pick. He might have some Sherman in him. Same speed as Sherman.
Thoughts?

Agree as a CB Nelson too small.

It may have been 41 years ago but the last time the team drafted a Steve Nelson, it worked out pretty well............
