Scamsters always be scammin'...

For now, we have paid $3.5M to have a QB in addition to Stidham.

We will see what comes next.

Everyone has a better use of the $3.5M (or $5M if he is on the roster for the year). Perhaps, there is another who might have filled this role.

In any case, NOTHING has been precluded by taking out a $3.5M insurance policy. I think that reality is that folks still are mad at Bill for not keeping Brady for $25M a year, even though he had no intention to sign. And they are mad at Bill for not YET trading for Jimmy, even though he may not be available.

What if Bill uses the cap money well, in addition to adding a couple of rookie QB's? This is everyone's nightmare. We add 3 or so of the opt-outs and $60M of free agents. And surely, we will lose MORE games. And surely, we will be non-competitive in 2022 when Belichick shows that he can't choose a future quarterback. I suspect that this nightmare is unreasonable.
