We spent almost two months at a ROK air base (Yechon?) in 1983...Never made it to the DMZ; don't think even in-service visitors were allowed anyway... We did prepare our vans for a possible bug-out to an air base in northern Japan after Korean Airlines flight 007 was shot-down, however... Drank our fair share of Soju too, among other things...Good times, good times...
