We now exist in the void between the end of the NBA/NHL seasons and the start of training camp (nobody cares about baseball, especially with FSG running the team like Devil Rays north). Thanks to the Celtics for the deep run that shortened this hellish window of time.

During the interview, Brady said he believes that despite how good a quarterback might be, it’s impossible to completely cover up bad offensive line play. He also added that there’s so many nuances when it comes to that group, and he believes that having a good offensive line coach is definitely an underrated aspect of the game.
“There’s so many nuances to the success of an offense. I don’t think you can ever make a bad O-line good,” said Brady. “And over the course of my career, I always, I believe I played with the best offensive line coach in the history of the NFL, Dante Scarneccia. Regardless of who we drafted, free agency. We always pieced together a unit that played really well together. All of them may not have been Pro bowlers, but as a unit, they played as well as any team in the league.”

1.) It will never happen, but Dante Scarneccia deserves to be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. If Canton can hold 32 Pittsburgh Steelers, then they can find room for one offensive line coach. His unique ability to take castoffs that nobody else wanted like Stephen Neal, Dan Connolly, Brandon Gorin, Joe Andruzzi, Tom Ashworth, Ryan Wendell and turn them into highly competent players was nothing short of amazing. I recall one season we were down to starting a fourth center and Nick McDonald looked like he was a long time veteran starter. Incredible.

2.) I hope my concerns about the 2024 offensive line are unfounded. The last thing this franchise needs is a replication of what happened to David Carr.
