MJ easily wins that game by 14+ points. Luckily, the game was entirely irrelevant. It'll be good to have him back this week, though.

What?... x3

Ian, that's a good article. Belichick's fawning over Rodgers in the post game press conference didn't exactly align with the conservation approach in OT. If he thinks Rodgers is "too smart, too good, too accurate" then why is he handing him another possession in OT. Rodgers went three-and-out on the first possession then you get the ball at midfield to start your first drive in OT. You've got to approach that as your best chance to win. Instead they played it not to lose. And then predictably the Patriots defense cracked on the next possession. Missed opportunity.

It's interesting too (and perhaps ironic) how Belichick is conceding with his comments in the press conference that an elite quarterback can make all the difference. Truer words never spoken.

Based on your previous posts, I sort of get what you're trying to do since saying the game was irrelevant is a little disingenuous. And I never said they would have won by 14, but they needed to make at least a play or two in overtime above and beyond the ground game considering the drive started at their own 49 to give Folk a chance.
