I found his quote that “it’s evident that when he comes back he will have help at that position” interesting. It seems to show that perhaps, internally, there were also concerns about getting the WR group developed so it wasn’t the Edelman show, and that there is now confidence that guys like Meyers and Byrd can get it done.
