Should be 19. Damn 9 win season in 2002

What’s the record for 11?
9, by NE from 2010-2018. Hopefully soon to be 10, from 2010-2019.

Sadly the Miami Miracle killed NE’s 12+ streak, though NE does hold the NFL record for that (8 seasons, 2010-2017). NE co-owns the record for 13+ seasons (2), though it has the record for the number of times doing it (3 times - no one else has done it more than once). NE also co-owns the 14+ record (2).

NE is the sole holder of the record for consecutive 8+, 9+, 10+, 11+, and 12+ seasons and (as noted) the co-holder for 13+ and 14+ seasons.

The Raiders have the 7+ record at 22 years with NE second at 19. (Remember that for many years until 1978 the season was only 14 games, so percentagewise 7+ was the equivalent of 8+ now)

That would make it 20 then with 2001 11 win season.

Nope. 19.

Now 17. 2002 would’ve been 18 (has they won one more) and 2001 would’ve been 19. They were 5-11 in 2000.

.

This is the single greatest active streak in all of sports today!

and all this in the age of the salary cap. Wow!!!!

that is insane

Indy with Peyton won 13+ a handful of times didn’t they?

Never two years in a row. In the 2000s, the pats have 3 2 year streaks of 13 wins. The only other team that has done that are the broncos, lead by same manning in 12 and 13

They won 14 twice and 13 once but those were all separated by seasons of 12 or less, so no streak.

They did have the record for 12+ before NE broke it in 2017.

the colts won 13 twice ('99,'07), 14 twice ('05,'09) during mannings tenure.

"Remember that one bad year when the ball didn't bounce our way and Brady went sub-0.500?"....said no one

Next year is the tying year for consecutive years with a +.500 record ... Dallas stands at 20 seasons, from 1966-1985 ... So if New England puts up 9 wins, they tie the record... 2021 breaks the record.

Since 2000, Cleveland has won exactly 10 games in a season once. 2007. Never once did they exceed 10 wins in another season in that span.

I remember how impressive I thought that 49ers run was when it ended. Thinking it was likely never to happen again, especially in the FA era. Crazy what this team has done. And to think we are two tie-breakers away from winning the division every year since 2001...

Win streaks are nice...But LOMBARDI'S are what give teams bragging rights ! Bling...........

Championships are why they play the game. But there is also something be to said for consistency!

we have an incredibly intertwining thread about the Jets consistency in not winning championships.
