Report: Patrick Mahomes Could Land NFL's 1st $200 Million Contract
Thats why they can afford overpay him, the tix and merch would offset the high salaryPatriots are not a draw without Brady. Something even the Pats are failing to realize. It’s back to obscurity until someone else steps up.
Looking at the Chief's pathetic schedule next year, you can book it now - Pats opener.

The NFL likes to have its prime matchups in November; this has been the case for a dozen or so years now - many of Patriots/Manning matchups were then. I think it’s more likely to be Pats/Chiefs in the opener if Brady walks away. The league will be curious to see a Pats team without Brady, and that November draw isn’t there anymore if the Pats are 5-5 or worse. Whereas if Brady returns, the November draw is there, so I think Chiefs/Texans becomes a large possibility for the opener. The Texans aren’t a true national draw at this point as they haven’t made it out of the divisional round yet in its franchise history, so the need to keep them as a November matchup is less.Texans could be a candidate too. Or Chargers if Brady goes there.
The Ravens schedule is even easier than this one. Pats will have to work hard to earn their bye in 2020.
The Queefs will be a top contender for 3-5 years. I can't see them paying Mahomes and keeping a great team for 15-20 years like NE did
Edit: Just saw the chiefs 2020 opponents. There is no one on their home schedule that's worth having as a home opener other than NE, with or without Brady.
Nah, if Brady is back theyll save it for a November 4:00 game
