The kid is an ambassador for the navy, I don't see why they wouldn't let him play.

I wondered that too - they were waffling quite a bit on the subject during weekend. Could've pushed him down their board. Then a couple weeks later, oh yeah they can play its all good. Wtf.

I have great admiration for the men and women that serve and risk their lives. But the higher-ups, I wonder about. How much do politics and optics and PR play into their decisions?

And if Reynolds doesn't make the team, do they suddenly shift course on Cardona? It wouldn't surprise me one bit.
