We should pursue him, but if he requested a trade because he wants to win not sure how happy he'd be here. Doesn't seem likely.

Worst aspect of this is that Carter probably goes #2 overall now, if not #1. He's the guy I really covet for us at #4.

Someone will back up the truck.

That is the worst aspect you’re not wrong.
That is the toy I want the Most frickin Mayo.

Giants will be looking at Sanders or Hunter.

That was my first thought. Hopefully it means they like Cam or Shedeur and are happy to go with a Mike Green with the first round pick they inevitably get for Garrett.

IDK, he is going to be 30 next year. I would be a little concerned that he would be on the decline by the time the Patriots were a contender again even if they get there on the fastest timeline.

I wouldn't be against a trade, but I would be concerned about giving up too much for him.

Browns salary cap situation is such that they can’t easily trade Garrett without cutting a number of players. They have him for 2 more years under contract and can franchise him for 2 more.

This is a piece you add when you are knocking on the door. They will want at least 1 first round pick +, and that will depend upon how high the pick is. The Patriots can’t afford to give up picks that high, they are at the beginning of the rebuild.

he’s going to the Eagles we all know it.

Well, on the other hand he is an accelerant to getting back in the playoffs.

QB- Check
CB1- Check
Pass rusher- Check
LT- Need
DT- Need
LBs- Need
WRs- Need

If they can nail down the "needs" over the next two years and Garrett can give them 4 years or reasonable top-level prod for a 2nd rounder it would be worth it.
