We should start Maye the week after we play the same OL for 2 weeks in a row and have them available for the third.
==========
My guess is that JAX may be the qualifying game.

What if that doesn't happen until week 2 next year or later?

Continuity? What’s that? When was that? I remember a certain oline coach from a long time ago that knew what that meant, but his name escapes me.

A lot depends on how Jacoby plays. I think this OL is the same one that finished the 49ers game.

I'm pretty sure we know how Jacoby will play.

Under this criterion, he will not play until next year (maybe midseason). After being on the other side for a long while, I just think it's time. I think whatever players' anger there may be over the coaches' failure to play the best players is wholly justified at this point. The goddam "plan" DID NOT WORK.

Really?? I am sure Maye can evade the rush find an open guy and run at times that alone should help any abysmal OL.

The "plan" is presumedly all about the future, nothing to do this year....as we don't know what the plan actually is, we have zero idea of it worked or not at this point.

Why do you believe that we won't have the same OL for 3 weeks in a row?

I'm not talking about quality here, just continuity. The team seems to want to continue with Robinson, so I could see Lowe-Sow-Leverett-Robinson-Onwenu starting for 3 weeks in a row. We could even see Maye in London.

At the rate people are getting injured its going to be tough. Plus you hope to have strange and wallace back at some point this year to try them out so anything we try to establish right now would include onwenu stuck at rt Hopefully he does better with sidy next to him as he appeared to do fine last year with that setup.

Hopefully this Jacobs kid pans out so we don't have to use multiple picks for backup OT in the future.

By pan out I mean, backup OT.

He and Vederian Lowe can be the backups.

At this point, whomever is pushing the car out of the ditch doesn't matter much as long as it is moving forward.

AVP needs to give them help in the protections.

But it's stuck in mud.

I think starting Maye is off the table now that Andrew’s is out and Brissett has to make the calls for the OL assignments. No rookie QB is ready to take on that much.

I was on the other side until recently. It's time for Maye to start. You know the arguments, I know the arguments, we ALL know the damned arguments both pro and con. It's time. I offer arguments elsewhere for anybody interested, Enough already: it's time. This team is now so abysmally bad that none of the usual "wisdom" applies. What the heck. Let's see what happens. Let's see what the new qb guy can do. Let's see what the guys on the roster can do around a competent QB, if that's what he is (Let's find out, fer crissakes). Otherwise, those guys a re gonna get pissed, and I don't blame them one bit. Playing on an NFL team is their lifelong dream, and you're giving them this crap to work with? Ridiculous.

Good point

The bad news going into the off-season is that there aren't any T's worthy of signing. Trey Smith at G is currently one of the top overall FA's. The Pats need to find a way solidify both G spots (one by switching Owenu back to G) and then use their assumed high draft pick on a LT in the draft. Andrews is probably done so they'll need to sign a C and they can draft/let the current T's on the team fight for the RT spot.

Get the pressure rate at 30% or below, then I would consider starting Maye.

Not before that.
