You have no credibility. Stop whining and think about it.

You just joined. There is nothing in your history here to make anyone put any credence in what you say. It doesn't mean you are a liar. It does mean that no one will believe you if you post a wild-ass story that no one can coorborate through any legitimate source.

That's why you didn't and won't get apologies.

If you are upset over that, well, sorry. Deal with it.

Dumbass, if you paid attention you'd see I didn't come out with the story. It was a radio station in Orlando. My "wild-ass" story was that I called the Newsroom at the radio station. Anyone could have done it too.

Sparks is awesome: he posted the FU tour pic! Lay off sparks. He just reported an interesting awful story. What the hell? Apologize now!

Signed, another newbie.

TAKE IT BACK. YOU NEED OVER 5,000 POST TO BE CONSIDERED CREDIBLE! [/sarcasm]

If it were true ESPN and everyone would have their hands all over this right now...people looking at this fourm tells someone they know and it keeps going..if its not on ESPN tomorrow morning...it aint real

I ponied up the $5 to see the case details, and it sure wasn't worth it. Nothing to see besides whats available from that link.

No, that's not true at all. In fact, domestic violence laws, especially in southern states such as florida, are weaker and do not require the victim to press charges. Plus women often choose not to press charges for whatever reason.

That's true, but this is not a domestic violence case, like a wife not wanting to press charges against her husband. I don't think this woman and Randy live together, so it seems strange that she would not want to pursue criminal charges, if she already has a restraining order.

Or maybe it's not strange at all, I don't know.

Update via Rotoworld.com:

"Earlier Tuesday evening, WBDO 580 in Central Florida reported Patriots WR Randy Moss was hit with a temporary injunction for protection against dating violence. However the story now has now been taken down from the radio station's website.
We suspect it was some sort of terrible mistake on WBDO's part. If this story has any validity it will be all over the media landscape tomorrow. It is worth noting that Randy Moss is married. "

Don't Believe the Stories

There are so many Patriot haters out there that stories are being made up in hopes the Patriots will be distracted. I've already heard stories on Randy Moss and one that says Brady will be retiring after this year.

DON'T BELIEVE THE STORIES!

C'mon guys & gals, don't add fuel to the fire! I see almost 200 comments on the Randy Moss story. That alone will force into onto the radio & television. Are we that naive, stupid and gossip hungry that we'll eat up anything that comes along?

Lets wake up folks and stop adding fuel to the fires.

AGAIN....LIKE LeBRON JAMES GETTING A SPEEDING TICKET FOR GOING 100MPH ON DEC 30th? It was only reported today. There are a lot of "media experts" on this board that have no CREDIBILITY!

Even if it is on ESPN and is real what happens to Randy? Or what is the worst that could happen to him?

The Pats seem pretty damn good at blocking out distractions so I'm not worried about that.

God, Rotoworld is like eight steps behind here.

I never said it was true, and you know that. But if a women is beaten and doesn't report it, a lot of restraining orders are issued without follow up charges or arrests.

If a woman is beaten and there is evidence of such, police can file charges without her consent. This whole thing is just too weird. Even the supposed court document posted a few posts ago lacks important information. Just weird.

Hope this is true. If so then the panic will go down. But what about that link everyone is posting?

I agree the whole thing seems like bull****. I don't know why a court website would be a .org instead of a .gov. But in the south the police don't press charges if a women doesn't want to in domestic violence cases like they do in civilized places like the northeast.

Wouldn't a restraining order and pressing charges go hand in hand? Isn't that how it's usually done?

Nope, not necessarily. There are tons of different scenarios -- most simply, victim didn't call the police when it happened, but just wants the guy to go away.

Obviously, we have no clue if there's ANYTHING to this in terms of actual wrongdoing. But there's plenty to it in terms of a hyperventilating media field day (given a jump start, oddly enough, by Pats fans posing as Jets fans in order to sic the NY Post on the story as quickly as possible? What was that about??? )

Nothing to even copy and paste, its honestly the same exact screen as the original court document I posted. Enough of this Hardy Boys business though, I got work tomorrow.
