Monday Night Football: Giants at Redskins
By: John Morgan

Yeah, yeah, it is yet another NFC East game on television - but this one might be a fun game to watch. Also a few Pats post-game observations, including two from the Miami press....

I am hoping that the Skins beat the crap out of the Giants.

I suppose the Giants could run away with this one... but Robert Griffin has to be the most watchable player in the NFL, so i think this will be a game no one wants to miss.

If the Giants DL plays anything like last week, RGIII is going to be in for a tough night.

Finally a good primetime game.

When will that DL get old and go away? :/
The Giants know what works for them and draft accordingly. It's interesting that the major rule changes in the NFL encouraging the passing game have also helped their defensive scheme, specifically their pass rush.

That damned Bill Polian...

I think this will be a very telling game as to the success of RG3's dual rushing abilities and spread option going forward in the NFL.

We all know the Giants are a great defense: fast, physical and smart. They have now had time to play against and study RG3 on tape. Looking forward to see if now that they had tape on him, he can still take off and run spread option plays or if they can shut him down and make him pay.

Of course, I believe RG3 will be able to operate just fine out of the pocket, but I'm curious to see if they can show the world that's what you need to do in order to win against great NFL defenses. On the other side, RG3 can make a strong statement that dual rush QB is here to stay as long as they have the football acumen and passing skills to go along with it.

Either way, it's eons better than last week's MNF game.

It wouldnt shock me if the giants lose this game.Seems like their season usually starts in the playoffs

i hate trent dilfer...moron

Looked an awful spot, good challenge this.

Let's go RG3! Man's got crazy potential. Like a smart michael vick. Big trade looks like it's working out for the skins so far wonder if the rams are kicking themselves a little for not just taking him themselves. With their line they might of just ruined him.

Man I used to really like Gruden but he keeps getting worse. "Statement drive"? They're at the 30 lol.

Griffin even fumbles good.

A fumble that doesn't bounce the giants way? *Sigh* I'm gonna wake up any second I just know it....

What a F#$%ked up TD, Go Skins!!!!:rocker:

I'm wondering why Gruden is congratulating RGIII for fumbling a ball that luckily took a Redskins bounce for a TD? That's absurd commentary.

wow, never seen a fumble for touchdown ! :rocker:
