I think this confirms what whiny fanbases and pundits have been crying about for the last 12 years: if the Patriots win, they are disrespectful and arrogant. If they lose, they're front runners with no killer instinct.

Surprised editor didn't catch the bolded part.

With the Patriots’ lead cut to just seven points midway through the fourth quarter of last week’s win, Tom Brady and the offense took over at the Miami 20-yard line and drove 77 yards...

Also, I wonder if the Dolphins guys quoted meant more what the second guy said, i.e., it was really on them to stop the run game rather than that the Patriots were disrespecting their defense. Hard to believe someone could say something as stupid as what McDaniel supposedly said.

He simply meant that the Dolphins as a professional Football team disrespected themselves by knowing a certain play was coming but yet they were constantly unable to stop it. Nothing wrong with feeling that way
