The Miss America Pageant always struck me as a fascinating cultural audit of the country and a case study on abnormal psychology. It's 2015, Ronda Rousey exists, badass, empowered chicks are everywhere, and beauty pageants still exist. It absolutely baffles me. Although I do enjoy the part when the judges ask them to solve the planets issues. There was a clip going around last year when some ass asked this poor girl how she would solve ISIS. It was like a neurological DDOS attack.

I think they could still do them if they want, just take the stupidity out like trying to solve all the world's problems in a 10 second answer. Embarrassing. Hopefully women will look up to badasses like Rousey vs these pageant girls. Not so sure I can even blame her so much, you barely have time to come up with a real answer as far as I know anyways.

Well, the old saw about everyone having opinions is never more true here, but her statement is basically "perception equals reality". Unfortunately we all suffer from that to some extent, some a great deal more than others.
