There's probably been other threads on the movie over the years but it still gets to me. Being 12 years old at the time that game against Russia was just amazing. The chants of USA just bring chills and make me misty eyed every time. My wife who's a few years younger and my kids just don't get it and laugh which is fine. But if you lived it that game is still so special. As much as the Fisk homer, the AV kicks, Flutie to Phelen all rank there is nothing like that gold medal. Great way to get me pumped up for tonight's B's Pens game.
