Mike ditka really going after the pats today

ya i saw that.... and then mike of "mike and mike" said "that game was handed to the patriots"..... maybe partly, but the pats had to make plays too and did alot to hang in there and outlast the chargers.

Ditka should be ashamed for slanderous statements. I can't think of a glaring coach mistake by the pats yesterday.

he just seemed to be going out of the way to slam the pats and BB...he also made comments on his dressing sense before...and he thought marty coached the game good enough..obviously he knows a lot about coaching i guess..

And, while doing so, he prevented the greatest Bear player of all time, Walter Payton, from getting a super bowl touchdown. 46 points and NO TD for Sweetness. That's probably the biggest oversight by a coach in any sport, ever. I wish someone would ask him about that one.

I thought Ditka was quite "classless" in his comments, not to mention INCONSISTENT. He claimed San Diego is the "better team" but the Patriots were not well coached which makes no sense. He called the Patriots players "childish" for mocking Merriman, but apparently Merriman isn't "childish" for mocking DURING a game, nor is LT "classless" for his cheapshot at Belichick. He also implied that Belichick is not a great coach although Belichick has coached teams generally regarded as "not the better team" to three SuperBowls. By the way, one of his named "great coaches" is Don Shula, who won less SuperBowls than Belichick. Of course, the fraudulent "journalists", Mike & Mike, didn't bother to ask him why he doesn't consider Belichick, who has won three SBs, a great coach. Rather, they just cackled like two drunk Bears fans. Don't know which is worse...sports journalism or the news media.

Thanks to a couple of posters pointing out couple factual errors (what I get for trusting the media, is Bill just the only one to do it in this era???). Point still remains though..
