Yeah...I'm almost considering giving it a go. I can probably kick a ball pretty hard and I don't know how much worse I would do. I'd also be cheap. League min is fine.

Dallas got this guy without using a draft pick or trading up.
He has made 100% of his kicks this year

while i agree, I want to point out that it is annoying when you criticize the positional value of a K and so you are upset about the selection which is completely fine and reasonable in my opinion but the IBWT guys are shutting down any kind of critics even if you have strong arguments for it.

The squeaky wheels get the grease.

Such fun watching fans root against players on their supposed team.

Yeah, the Tankheads are kind of annoying and probably celebrated Ryland's misses.. They should be happy with the loss this week though.

Well, he won a game last week, and probably lost this week. His 2 missed kicks this week probably changed how the 4th qtr played out…whatever happened to that other kicker they drafted that the internet melted down over his tattoos.

Ryland is not the first rookie who needed some time to learn to kick in the NFL. It's obvious that he has the leg to be a good, or even great kicker so it is in the teams best interest to see if he can learn from this years struggles. If he can't turn it around for next year the team needs to find the next guy.

He missed one kick. The other kick, he let the play clock run to zero, waited about three seconds and then called the hike.

Lord knows why the refs didn't throw the flag when the clock hit zero but...it is what it is.
