Lived there for decades, hurricanes there are not so different than nor’easters up here. Also Miami is a magical place in the jet stream where most hurricanes get pushed north into middle and upper Florida.

Went there with family around this time last year for my Dad’s 85th birthday. I liked it, it was cool, but not a place I’d wanna live. My sister absolutely LOVED it. I can see some people loving it, it just isn’t for me. Food was great though.

He'd make a great OC for somebody. I'm not sure the tipsy nerdboy thing is gonna work out as a HC. He's an interesting guy. I'll be happy to see him land on his feet somewhere.

It’s an attractive landing spot for free agents, no state tax, latinas, paradise… don’t want a good coach going there.

It only takes a couple seasons to turn a bad team around depending on their cap situation and personnel.

That's the thing, though. They have a bad cap situation and no QB. Unless he has the hope for a QB, it doesn't really matter who coaches there.

I hope Miami forever lives in turmoil, tbh. May Mike find a better spot and get back on track as far as his drinking goes (if the rumors are true) - Miami is an oasis of riches covering for a blackhole of a franchise. Which is very fitting for Miami the city itself, imo.

Lived down here 20 years and rode out exactly one hurricane, Wilma in 2005. A near miss or two, though.

Meanwhile, my Dad's farm in Indiana has been hit by tornadoes 3 times in the same time period. Destroyed just about every building, including a steel grain bin/silo.

Raiders might be a good spot at least he gets that QB: Fernando Mendoza is even loved by Brady no homo.

For you (or the board) is Mendoza a better prospect coming out than Maye was? I don't know much about him.

I certainly hope he likes competition though. There will be three teams in his division with an elite QB/great QB/franchise QB. Not to mention how good the coaches ate.
