The way the first round of this draft is setting up i wouldn't be that surprised if they ended up going DB in the first. QB/WR/DL/ and OL are heavily represented in the top 25 and the CB's seem to have been somewhat marginalized, which means there should be a good one sitting there when they pick, at least if it falls that way.

Pro Football Focus' rankings are completely worthless but if Grimes gets 8 a year then there is no way Talib is back in NE because they aren't giving him that much and his agent will likely want more than that.

And you can live with the alternatives? Like we have anybody on our current roster minus Talib who can cover a legit #1 WR. Good/Great CB's don't come cheap fyi. If the Patriots don't pay him some other Team will. Talib should not be allowed to test the market it will be to the Patriots detriment. A deal should be done before the end of the week.
