I think I've heard a couple Patriots this year say, "Coach will MF us for that." Am I hearing that correctly? Anyone know what MF is?

I think it means just what you think it means. That's one of the beautiful things about the "mother of all curse words". She can be used as a noun, verb, adjective, exclamation point, dangling participle. It does not matter.

It's all about tone, context and emotion.

Thanks. Hadn't heard the term until this year and have heard it a couple times now -- on tv and the radio -- so I wondered if it was some belispeak term I needed to note.

"MF us", is Make Fun of us. Coach Bellichick is well known to call the players things such as ka ka pants, and poo poo face, if they do something wrong. He's such a kidder, and it' really keeps things loose.

MF = make fun hahah i thought of something else.
