Let's say that the Patriots don't sign any more significant free agents. What kind of draft compensation would the team then get in 2007 for the loss of AV, WG, DG and others? I would think the draft compensation could be truly substantial...a couple of 3rds, for instance, or even a 2nd. What rules apply? Is this a part of BB/SP's thinking?

Miguel and some of the others would have comments with closer details as to where they MAY be..I think another thread has been made along these lines. And..I think it may have been thought 4,5,6,7...Day two picks. Part of a strategy?? NO...maybe more of a consequence of not overpaying...
