We traded a 3rd for Burgess..We trade Moss for a 3rd?
I would rather we lose Moss at the end of the season and get a comp pick than what we just did.
I really don't know. Would moss have turned into a distraction without an extension?

If BB thought that "the rest of this season with Moss plus a possible 2012 comp pick" > "trading Moss to MIN for their third", he wouldn't have made the trade.

Yeah, but he would have stayed in New England. He wanted a contract and he wanted to end his career here. But if that wasn't going to happen here, yeah, he wanted to be traded.

In three words, you just hit the proverbial nail right on its head. A while ago, I concluded that while, some of these mediots (Borges, Felger, Mazz, Shank, et al) don't like the Pats and Belichick, it's actually us, their fans, they despise.
