Well, offensive "needs" this draft are probably down to OT (Scar's department) and QB. I'm guessing that the Pats will manage their public contacts with QB prospects very strategically, probably showing more public interest in guys they likely have no chance at (Darnold, Rosen, Mayfield) or are merely evaluating for due diligence, and that the guys they're really interested in they'll appear to have no interest in at all.

Interesting how one of the reasons McDaniels came back was supposedly because Belichick said he'd teach him more about team building. And then the first thing that happens is that BB leaves him behind at the combine!

This is odd to me. Wasn’t BB going to open his world to Josh? Maybe the succession involves Caserio doing the player acquisition and Josh running said players, but otherwise this makes little sense.
