McCourty at Safety!

The defense also seemed to play better and with more energy after Spikes started playing a bigger role.

There is clearly something about Spikes that BB likes. I'm not sure if he is a "true" playmaker but he does seem active and fairly physical out there.

Does make me slightly nervous to be putting McD at FS when he essentially has only played it in a real game once.

As opposed to misplaying CB in real games many times? Do we have that much more to lose?

This is going to be a long two weeks. Can't wait to see our defensive starters.

I love this move. The difference for McCourty this and last year at CB was that he wasn't turning his head to look for the ball. Now that he is at FS, I think he will be and awesome playmaker/interception machine.

My starting secondary is McCourty and Arrington at CB, Edelman in the slot, and Chung and Moore at safety.
