Maybe BB's thinking is that Pat's aren't gonna run much on Steelers anyway, so give him another week to recuperate and be ready for the Dolts.

I've said before he's being saved for the stretch run, it makes sense really. I'll be shocked if he's still out by week 16 yet not on IR or on the team at all. I also think this is his last year in the NFL though and he probably knows it.

This makes me wonder what BB's going to do with the RB corps going into next year; do we draft another guy and hope for better results then Maroney, or do we pick up another veteran FA?... Do they leave it as is?

Very curious situation.
