Overall is what counts.

Ryan will take home $34.75 million in the 1st 3 years of his contract.
Even after giving the Pats a discount Brady took home $37.5 million.and Manning took home $46
1st 4 years
Ryan - $45 million
Brady - $45.5 million

and Manning $56M

1st 5 years
Ryan $56M
Brady $51M
Manning $67.5M

1st 6 years

Ryan $66M
Brady $62M
Manning $81.5M

So I guess it depends on how you define makes and overall.

Brady will have one more huge contract so I am not worried about his financial condition. His girlfriend makes more money than he does.

So after giving a discount Brady is going to make $4 million less than Ryan if he does not extend his current contract. Big deal. Especially when Brady signed his deal the cap was $85.5 million the cap is now $116,739,000.

Bottom line - I was wrong about Ryan making more than Brady.
