Aaron Dobson tore up minicamp, but what are the chances he makes the New England Patriots final roster?

With Dobson... my hopes are raised...

...my hopes are dashed...

...I can't do this anymore...

Let's see if this thread And the following responses break the site

Always thought very little of Dobson. Got some **** when I gave'm a 6th Round Grade back in the day.

Can't believe he's still alive, after all these Years, much less on the Roster.

I'm definitely more hopeful than you are with Dobson, but I have my doubts he'll make it to the roster this year. I'd love to see him succeed. We'll see.

If only mini camp was at the same speed of play and decision making as the real season ...

I read it as he tore something. Glad it was the good kind of tore. LOL

haha, that was my first reaction too.

Yet you gave Keenan Allen a first round grade.

What did the patriots see in Dobson that they didn't see in Keenan Allen?

I'm not getting my hopes up, and I'm not completely giving up on Dobson yet, but if he puts it together our WR/TE core could really be something. Actually it will be something, barring injury, with or without him, so I guess this post was pointless.

Wide receivers can take a while to grow into the complexities of the NFL. I am willing to give them more time. On a related note the Patriots practice of grooming quarterbacks seems to be a lost practice in the NFL and the reason there are so many flameouts.

Certainly the Patriots have prepared their roster to move on from Dobson.

I still think Jimmy G has a future in New England and Brisset as a fallback option isn't a awful scenario

I understand the skepticism but still want him to carry it over into the season. If by some chance Dobson can turn into a real downfield threat it will help this offense immensely and give defenders nightmares over what they have to stop.

Am I going to count on him, no, but like any other player I want him to succeed and have a great season.

I can't imagine Garrapolo sticking around for another 5-6 years waiting for a chance, and imo Brady won't be done for at least 4 seasons.

Garrapolo will be traded after this season if they can get the right deal, if not they will let him play it out and take the comp pick.

Poor quality recording, but there are some real positives (and some negatives) here:
