Massachusetts License Plate

After a closer look at my plate I realized the numerals for Super Bowl XXVI, XXXVII, XXXIX are not imprinted/embedded as part of the actual plate but some type of sticker, would/should the Patriots consider sending registered owners an XLIX sticker?
***Not my plate as I found this one on the web when looking for a sample and it's clear there is room to add an additional sticker or stickers!!!

Ps: how/why should patriots have anything to do with pulling up your privacy act restricted data from a Government computer (registration) system?

I would bet that is illegal to modify the plate. I had to cut mine to fit a custom plate holder for my bike and await the day they cite me for it.
