From a marketing standpoint, it depends on the product. Harley Davidson, for example, would be marketed toward an older demographic because young people simply do not buy them and have less disposable income to spend on such products.

I always loved that. Wonder what the equivalent is for the NFL. Something about reliving high school memories in a grandiose fantasy.
