I gotchu fam.

Very theatrically, technical-influence on the ref sound as well. By stopping and standing where he did, on the Ravens side of the first down marker, he helped influence the ref to mark the spot short. You've seen plenty of those generous spots before giving illusionary forward progress. If he had ran off celebrating instead of standing still, who knows . . . .?

That hit underscored the physicality the Patriots brought tonight. They were the more physical team and imposed their will in the trenches, flowing to the ball with waves of defenders swarming to receivers and runners all night long.

An interesting thought: if he were, say, 3" taller . . . do the Seahawks throw the ball?
Yes, they decided to throw the ball before Butler was in. At the time, he was our 3rd CB (And that's because Arrington and some other guy (Ryan?) had been benched for a bad series/play. So... He wasn't a factor for the decision-making of the Seahawks.

Thank god.

I put that one in the post game thread earlier. Should have thought to put it here, instead. Great play from Butler.
