kind of sounds like Butler's biggest worry should be finding an agent worthy of his level of play

It's as simple as a guy wanting to get paid as an unrestricted guy when he is restricted.

Not Patriots fault he is 27.

Do the Pats make an exception with MB, what then about all the other guys that have worked as hard as MB, done all the right things, do we pay them too?

Sorry, but no, last year his agent should have advised him to take the offer and not cost his clients millions. Looks like the same thing may be happening here as well.

At this point, as much as I love MB, I'll take the first rounder and move on.
